Hope Therapy

HOPE THERAPY is a private counselling practice based at Pride Park in Derby. We offer a comprehensive service to individuals, couples and families in the area. A number of local business and GP surgeries have built up a close working relationship and come to trust in the high quality of service we offer.

The unique feature of our practice is that we are a service first and foremost. This allows every prospective client access to a range of professionals under one roof. The cornerstone of this service is client choice, to ensure this we offer an in-depth consultation specifically designed to ascertain your individual needs and requirements. This enables us to match you with the most suitable Counsellor or Psychotherapist. Because we work as a team we offer a range of interventions, for both individuals and couples, from brief contracted counselling to longer-term counselling, as appropriate to the nature of the problem. 

A unique feature of our service is that we offer an exploratory consultation where we will explore the precise nature of your problem and your particular therapeutic need. The objective of this initial assessment session is to consider all the options and decide the best way forward. With your guidance the goal is to establish how best our team is able to help. It is also an opportunity to ask any questions or raise concerns about what might be required of you. Research has shown that where clients make informed choices about the mode of therapy they engage in outcomes are much more favourable.
